 Hawaii State Update. Do not lose hope, we are far from over in this battle between their personal preferences (the anti's) and our inherent Rights as citizens of this great country. Millions are waking up to the fact that these laws were passed in a disingenuous manner.
Use Reason. By Charley Reese. I got aggravated once some years ago by a reporter who always referred to a pesticide as "cancer-causing." Sunshine and many common substances can cause cancer. The thing to remember is that when we talk of toxicity of chemicals or carcinogens, amount is the key. We can't live without salt, for example, but too much salt will kill us. Aspirin is a great pain reliever; too much will kill us. You can probably think of many examples yourself.

 Obama is Smokin' While Barack Obama seems to have exaggerated his illegal drug use, he has at the same time underreported his use of a legal (for now) drug: tobacco. On MSNBC's Hardball last night, ABC correspondent Jake Tapper notes, Obama admitted that he snuck a cigarette here and there after he officially quit in February 2007. Yet when Tapper ran into a smoky-smelling Obama at the Capitol last August, the senator's campaign insisted, even after consulting with him, that he hadn't smoked at all in months.

 Mobile phones more dangerous than smoking. Mobile phones could kill far more people than smoking or asbestos, a study by an award-winning cancer expert has concluded. He says people should avoid using them wherever possible and that governments and the mobile phone industry must take "immediate steps" to reduce exposure to their radiation.
